R-454B Flammability Zone Dispersion
Field Status: R-454B is an A2L refrigerant with a lower GWP than R-410A. Because it is mildly flammable, safety standards mandate strict “dispersion metrics.” In the event of a leak, you must ensure the concentration of refrigerant does not reach the Lower Flammability Limit (LFL) within the occupied space.
We audit the system charge amount against the room volume. If the charge quantity exceeds the LFL for the room volume, the system requires active mitigation (e.g., leak detection sensors linked to indoor fan activation).
