Whirlpool AC error code U1, U5

Causes:

This error is displayed on the AC unit when/if:

  1. The phase current detection (U1 is for the compressor, U5 is for the complete system) is malfunctioning.

  1. Check the voltages to the compressor and ensure they are stable and consistent.

Causes:

Solutions:

  1. The system will automatically remove this error if it occurs 1 or 2 times and all the functions will operate normally just like they were before.

If this error occurs more than 2 times, the system will not be able to bring the operations back to normal. In this case, you have to take down the error by yourself.

  • Turn OFF the air conditioner for some time and turn it ON again.
  • Energize the air conditioner by turning it ON and OFF again and again multiple times, until the error goes away.

Whirlpool AC error code UA

Causes:

This error is displayed on the AC unit when/if:

  1. The setting of the indoor or outdoor unit is wrong.
  2. Indoor or outdoor units of the system are not functioning properly.

Solutions:

  1. Using the remote controller, set all the settings of the units. Reset the settings to default if nothing seems to work.
  2. Inspect the main PCB of both units. Replace either of the PCB if it is malfunctioning.

Whirlpool AC Miscellaneous Problems, Issues, or Errors

Whirlpool AC is not starting
