LED Display Indication: “RUN” indicator, “2 Blinks” with “3 Seconds Pause” after each blink.

Causes:

This error is triggered when the air conditioner has entered frost protection mode. This can happen when/if:

  1. The outdoor temperature is going below the safe limit.
  2. The refrigerant level in the air conditioner is fairly low.
  3. The thermostat is malfunctioning.

Solutions:

The error will automatically be taken down by the air conditioner once temperatures reach a safe range. If the error remains for a long time,

  1. Turn OFF the cooling settings and only run Fan on high speed for a few minutes.
  2. Check the filters and clean them if there is too much dirt build-up.
  3. Check the refrigerant level in the air conditioner and get it filled if it’s less than required.
  4. If you are still getting the error, the thermostat may be faulty. Call a technician to check it for any defects. Replace the component if needed.

Causes:

  1. This error occurs when the compressor’s high outlet temperature protection has been activated.
  2. There is an open circuit, short circuit, or any other issues in the temperature sensor of the outdoor unit.

Solutions:

  1. Using a tester, check the resistance for outdoor temperature sensors and replace it if it is weak.
  2. Call a technician to check the compressor’s high outlet temperature sensor for any open or short circuits. Replace it if damaged.

Causes:

This error occurs when the unit is experiencing a high rise in the power current, which can happen when/if:

  1. The power supply is malfunctioning.
  2. Wiring or connections are wrongly placed.
  3. The Main PCB of the air conditioner is malfunctioning.
  4. The compressor is defective and causes current disturbance.

Solutions:

  1. Take a meter and check the power supply for supplying voltages. Repair it or replace it if it’s faulty.
  2. Check all the wiring and connections to make sure that they are connected to their intended places, sockets, and ports.
  3. Call a technician to check the main PCB and replace it if it is faulty.
  4. Check the compressor resistance to make sure that it is working fine. Repair or replace the defective compressor.
  5. If still getting the error, the outdoor unit has some major issues and either needs a whole lot of repair or a complete replacement.

LED Display Indication: “HEAT” indicator, “18 Blinks” with “3 Seconds Pause” after each blink.

Causes:

  1. The microcontroller memory error is reported by the air conditioner when its microcontroller memory chip is faulty or malfunctioning.

Solutions:

  1. Power OFF the AC for about 1-3 minutes and then turn it ON again. Energize it multiple times until the error goes away.
  2. If the error is still there, call a technician to check the microcontroller memory chip and the main PCB for any faults. Replace either of the components that are damaged.

Causes:

  1. This error is reported by the Dantex air conditioner when there are some issues or malfunctioning in the main control board.

Solutions:

  1. Seek the assistance of a professional engineer to check the circuits, wiring, connectors, and terminals of the main control board of the indoor unit. Repair the harness or replace the control board as needed.

Causes:

  1. This error is reported when different components of the air conditioner are unable to communicate with each other.
  2. Communication wires are pinched or connectors are loose.
  3. The Control board or main PCB is malfunctioning.

  1. Check the coefficient of resistance for indoor ambient temperature sensors using a meter or tester. Replace the sensor if it is weak.
  2. Call a technician to inspect the indoor ambient temperature sensor for any open circuit, short circuit, burnout, or breakages. Replace it if needed.

  1. Check the coefficient of resistance for outdoor condenser pipe temperature sensors using a tester. Replace it if it is weak.
  2. Call a technician to inspect the outdoor condenser pipe temperature sensor for any open or short circuits. Replace it if broken.

Causes:

  1. This error occurs when there is an open circuit, short circuit, or any other issue in the compressor discharge temperature sensor of the outdoor unit.

Solutions:

  1. Check the resistance coefficient of the sensor. Replace the sensor if it is not enough or is weak.
  2. Call a technician to inspect the compressor discharge temperature sensor of the outdoor unit for any open or short circuits. Replace it if it is burned or damaged.

Causes:

  1. This error is triggered when there is too much load on the compressor of the air conditioner.

Solutions:

  1. Try changing the heat or cooling settings of the air conditioner such as decreasing or increasing the temperatures in differing modes.
  2. Re-energize the air conditioner multiple times to see if the error goes away.
  3. Turn OFF the air conditioner, wait for a few minutes, and turn it ON again. Energize the AC after restarts.
  4. If still getting the error, call a technician to check the compressor for any faults. Repair or replace it as needed.

LED Display Indication: “HEAT” indicator, “4 Blinks” with “3 Seconds Pause” after each blink.

Causes:

This error is a system overloading error and can occur when/if:

  1. Cooling or condenser coils are covered with dirt and debris.
  2. There is a leak or clogging in any running part of the air conditioner.
  3. The evaporator is covered with dirt. Fans and filter blockage can also cause this error.

Solutions:

  1. Check the evaporator, condenser cooling coils, and other components for dirt build-up. Clean it thoroughly.
  2. Clean cooling coils.
  3. Analyze other components for any leaks or clogging. Immediately call a technician if this is the problem.
  4. If still getting the error, call a technician to inspect the evaporator and condenser for any faults or malfunctioning. Repair or replace the components as needed.

LED Display Indication: “RUN” indicator, “11 Flashes” with “3 Seconds Pause” after each flash.

Causes:

  1. This error is reported when the air conditioner is not receiving any feedback from the motor of the indoor unit for a long time.

Solutions:

  1. Check and make sure that the indoor motor is supplied with enough voltage and power.
  2. Check the harness and feedback connectors while making sure that they’re perfectly connected in their intended position. Repair connectors if they are loose or broken.
  3. If still getting the error, the main PCB or indoor motor is at fault. Call a technician to inspect these components and resolve the issues.

LED Display Indication: “HEAT” indicator, “7 Blinks” with “3 Seconds Pause” after each blink.

Causes:

  1. This error is directly linked to compressor or compressor motor desynchronization.
  2. Any issues or malfunctioning in the compressor motor.

Solutions:

  1. Check and make sure that the compressor resistance and ground resistance are correct.
  2. Check the wiring, connections, and connectors between the compressor and the main PCB of the air conditioner.
  3. Check the control board or main PCB of the air conditioner for any malfunction. Replace the component if needed.
  4. If still getting the error, call a technician to check the compressor for any faults. Repair or replace the compressor as needed.

Dantex air conditioner error code P4

  1. This error is triggered in the air conditioner when the system has detected overcurrent or has started protection against overcurrent in an indoor unit.

Solutions:

  1. Turn OFF the air conditioner for a minute or two and then turn it ON again.
  2. Using a meter, check and make sure that enough and consistent voltages are being supplied to the air conditioner.
  3. If still getting the error, contact a local technician to check the power line, power supply, and other electrical components and resolve the error accordingly.

Causes:

  1. This error is reported when there is overcurrent or the system has started protection against overcurrent in an outdoor unit.

Solutions:

  1. Try the same solutions as suggested for the Frigidaire Air Conditioner Error Code “P4”.

LED Display Indication: “HEAT” indicator, “18 Blinks” with “3 Seconds Pause” after each blink.

Causes:

  1. This error is triggered on the air conditioner display when there is an open or short circuit in the module temperature sensor.

Solutions:

  1. Check the coefficient of resistance for outdoor temperature sensors using a tester and if it is weak, replace it.
  2. Call a technician to inspect the outdoor temperature sensor for any open or short circuits. Replace it if damaged. 
  3. If you’re still getting the error, the main PCB or control board of the AC outdoor unit is faulty. Replace it if it cannot be repaired.

Dantex air conditioner error code P8

LED Display Indication: “HEAT” indicator, “19 Blinks” with “3 Seconds Pause” after each blink.

Causes:

This error is linked to the high temperature or thermal protection of the IPM module. It can happen when/if:

  1. Power or voltages being supplied to the air conditioner are not stable.
  2. AC units have leaks or clogging mostly because of debris.
  3. Wiring, connection, or connectors are loose or broken.
  4. The radiator is not equipped properly.
  5. The main PCB is at fault.

Solutions:

  1. Check the power line and make sure that voltages are consistent and stable.
  2. Repair the leaks in the air conditioner and do a thorough cleaning for blockages.
  3. Check and make sure that the wiring and connectors between the main PCB and sensor are fine.
  4. Make sure that radiator is installed in its intended position and is properly connected to the refrigerant copper pipe.
  5. Call a technician to inspect the main PCB  for any faults. Replace it if needed.

Dantex air conditioner error code U1

LED Display Indication: “HEAT” indicator, “13 Flashes” with “3 Seconds Pause” after each flash.

Causes:

  1. This error is reported when there are some issues in phase current circuit detection for the compressor.

Solutions:

  1. Turn OFF the air conditioner for 30-60 seconds and then turn it ON again. Energize the AC to see if the error goes away.
  2. Check the harness for any loose or broken connection.
  3. Call a technician to check the main PCB or Control Board for any faults. Replace either of the components if defective.

LED Display Indication: “COOL” indicator, “13 Flashes” with “3 Seconds Pause” after each flash.

Causes:

  1. This error is triggered in the Dantex air conditioner when the fault direction of the current has some ups or downs.

In electronics, faults current is directly connected to the relay. If the fault current somehow becomes larger than overcurrent settings, the relay will immediately trip and AC functioning will be limited.

Solutions:

  1. Check the harness for any loose or broken connections.
  2. Call a technician to check the main PCB and control board of the outdoor unit for any malfunctioning. Replace the component if it is faulty.

Dantex air conditioner error code U7

LED Display Indication: “COOL” indicator, 20 Blinks” with “3 Seconds Pause” after each blink.

Causes:

  1. This error occurs when there is some issue in the 4-way valve of the air conditioner.

Solutions:

Call a technician to:

  1. Check the harness of the 4-way valve and its terminals to other components. Repair if there are any loose or broken connections.
  2. Check the 4-way valve for any faults. Replace the component if needed.

LED Display Indication: “COOL” &”HEAT” indicator, “7 Flashes”, without any pause in “2 Modes”.

Causes:

This error is related to the Zero Crossing Malfunction and occurs when:

  1. The time interval of zero crossing signal is incorrect for straight 4 minutes or 240 seconds (this period can be different in some models).

Solutions:

  1. Power OFF the air conditioner and then restart it after waiting for 2-3 minutes.
  2. The main PCB (Printed Circuit Board) or Control Board of the indoor unit is malfunctioning and faulty. Replace the component if needed.

LED Display Indication: “COOL” & “HEAT” indicator, “8 Blinks”, without any pause in “2 Modes”.

Causes:

  1. This error is reported when the air conditioner is not getting any feedback from the electric or main motor of the outdoor unit.

Solutions:

  1. Check and make sure that the indoor motor is supplied with enough voltage and power.
  2. Check the harness and feedback connectors. Repair connectors if they are loose or broken.
  3. If still getting the error, call a technician to check the main PCB or outdoor electric motor for any faults.

Dantex air conditioner error code UU

LED Display Indication: “COOL” & “HEAT” indicator, “11 Flashes”, without any pause in “2 Modes”.

Causes:

  1. This error indicates that your air conditioner has entered the DC overloading phase.
  2. Too much use in the extremely hot or cool outside temperature.
  3. Issues in the control board of the air conditioner.

Solutions:

  1. Turn OFF the air conditioner and let it rest for 5-15 minutes. Turn it ON again and energize it to see if the error is gone.
  2. Give proper breaks every day. The best time for rest is when the temperature is tolerable. Even a 15-30 minutes break is enough.
  3. Call a technician to inspect the control board of the outdoor unit for any malfunctioning. Repair and replace the control board as needed.

Dantex air conditioner error code LC

LED Display Indication: “HEAT” indicator, “11 Flashes” with “3 Seconds Pause” after each flash.

Causes:

This error is triggered when the air conditioner is running but the compressor is unable to start. This can happen when/if:

  1. Condenser coils are dirty and covered with debris.
  2. Incorrect compressor resistance and ground resistance.
  3. Too low refrigerant level in the AC.
  4. The Control board of the outdoor unit is malfunctioning.
  5. The compressor itself is faulty.

Solutions:

  1. Open the air conditioner covers and clean the condenser or cooling coils to remove dirt build-up.
  2. Using a meter, check and make sure that the compressor resistance and resistance to the ground are correct.
  3. Check the refrigerant level in the air conditioner. If low, get it filled by a technician.
  4. Call a technician to check the control board of the outdoor unit for any malfunction. Repair or replace the control board as required.
  5. If you are still getting the error, the compressor itself is at fault. Check for repairs or replace it if it is completely broken.
